  • Yield: Serves 8-10 1x

Description

This creamy and decadent Oreo Red Velvet Cheesecake Dip is an absolute show-stopper! Featuring layers of red velvet cake, rich cheesecake filling, and crunchy Oreos, it’s perfect for any occasion. Serve with cookies, graham crackers, or fresh fruit for an irresistible dessert experience!

Ingredients

Scale

1 box red velvet cake mix, prepared (or use leftover red velvet cake)

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups whipped cream (or Cool Whip)

15 Oreo cookies, crushed

8 Oreo cookies (for garnish)

Optional: Red velvet cake crumbs or sauce for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Prepare Red Velvet Cake: If you’re using a red velvet cake mix, bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely. Alternatively, use any leftover red velvet cake.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until fully combined. Gently fold in the whipped cream to create a light, airy mixture.
  3. Crush Oreos: Place 15 Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them into small pieces, leaving some chunks for added texture.
  4. Layer the Dip: In a serving dish, layer crumbled red velvet cake at the bottom. Spread the cheesecake mixture on top, and sprinkle crushed Oreos over the cheesecake layer.
  5. Decorate: Garnish with whole Oreo cookies and drizzle red velvet sauce or cake crumbs on top if desired.
  6. Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes. Serve chilled with extra Oreo cookies, graham crackers, or fresh fruit for dipping.
