Description

Rich, creamy, and oh-so-decadent, this Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle is the ultimate indulgence! With layers of chocolate pudding, fluffy cheesecake filling, tart raspberries, and crunchy cookie crumbs, it’s a show-stopping dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. Easy to assemble and packed with flavor, this trifle will leave everyone wanting more!

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups prepared chocolate pudding (store-bought or homemade)

1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate cookies

1 cup fresh raspberries

1/4 cup chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined to create the cheesecake filling.

Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package instructions (if using store-bought) and let it set in the refrigerator.

Begin assembling the trifle: start with a layer of chocolate pudding at the bottom of a large trifle dish. Add a layer of crushed chocolate cookies, followed by a layer of the cheesecake filling. Scatter some fresh raspberries on top.

Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of cheesecake filling on top.

Garnish with chocolate shavings and additional raspberries.

Chill the trifle in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours before serving to allow the layers to set and the flavors to meld.

Notes

You can prepare the trifle in advance and let it chill overnight for an even more developed flavor.

Substitute the raspberries with strawberries or mixed berries for a variation in taste and color.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
